CY diffuser Ultrasonic nozzles use low-pressure air/gas to produce uniform, wide spray patterns, up to 9.8 inches (25 cm) per nozzle, depending on the distance from the substrate. The velocity of the air stream is controllable, allowing low or high impact of the atomized spray on the product or substrate. Unlimited width can be obtained by using multiple nozzles in series. The diffuser nozzle is designed for highly repeatable wide patterns in slender nozzles.
CY diffuser ultrasonic nozzle, is an ultrasonic atomizing nozzle with cyclonic cone spray. It uses ultrasonic atomizing nozzle technology, through a special vortex flow channel design, to convert the carrier gas into a uniform rotating airflow, so that the ultrasonic atomization of the liquid mist is dispersed in the form of a cyclonic spray, expanding the spray area of the atomizer. Ultrasonic nozzles can also be sprayed on vertical or curved surfaces and other angular substrates.
Application
The typical application of CY diffuser ultrasonic nozzles is the photoresist coating of semiconductor wafers, where the photoresist is sprayed on semiconductor wafers. Since the mist sprayed by the scattering ultrasonic nozzle is scattered in a rotating manner, it can form a uniform photoresist film not only on the wafer plane, but also on the sidewalls and corners of the wafer microstructure. In addition, the scattering ultrasonic nozzle can also be used for thin-film solar cell coatings, calcium titanate solar cell coatings, AR transmission and reflection film coatings, thermal insulation film coatings, super hydrophobic coatings, PCB flux coatings and other applications.
Principle of ultrasonic atomizing nozzle
Unlike pressure sprinklers, ultrasonic sprinklers do not use high pressure to force liquid through a small hole to produce spray. The liquid enters through a relatively large center of the sprinkler, without pressure, and is atomized by ultrasonic vibrations within the sprinkler.
Each ultrasonic sprinkler operates at a specific resonant frequency, which determines the median size of the droplets. The size of the droplets varies very little and can be mathematically calculated to be distributed within an accurately predicted range. For example, a 120 kHz sprinkler produces a median droplet size of 18 microns (when spraying water). The higher the frequency, the smaller the median value decreases.
